CPW poll

Have you ever been so behind at work that you've practically resigned yourself to quitting rather than try to catch up?

This is just a hypothetical question. Really.

Like every third week.

This poll is very timely for me CP. Maybe if we switch jobs? Not that I'm laying down on the job or anything.

Yep, and I worked 16 days in a row. It made me think how great it is to work on an assembly line for an automobile company. Great benefits, work your shift and be done. Never go home thinking, "Did I fasten that bolt tight enough?" Leave work and you leave work behind until you show up the next day.

Not this week but talk to me after the holiday when everyone has come back from vacation.

Yes, yes and yes. *sigh*

(Hypothetically, of course.)

You know, tragic fires can start for seemingly no reason, often in the middle of piles of paper. Sometimes those fires spread to nearby computers and fry the harddrives beyond repair.

I'm with Lulu. Set fire to the joint.

yes everytime I return from vacation. I am in the airport now waiting for my flight home and I am dreading what my desk will look like

Okay, I mulled it over and I have just one thing to say in response to your question: Lulu scares me.

Of course. And I urge you to quit now. It's not worth it!

To quote another redhead "I'm not bad; I'm just drawn that way."

There's a reason Lulu was deported to Bangladesh.

Hypothetically...that's how I feel about cleaning the house. Just go buy a cleaner one.

Dean should do you work, it's the very least he can do for driving you nuts.

I'm a fellow redhead, Lulu, so I can honestly say that all fear has departed.

I'm so sorry for your deportation. I'm sure Dale had a hand in it. He's like that.

I just stop answering phone calls. It's never someone offering to help me.
