Five Things I Hate is back!

Gentle Readers,

Many of you remember Five Things I Hate, the blog where you can rant, anonymously, about the things you hate in our world. But not everyone knew that I was the wizard behind the curtain of that particular blog.

I had let Five Things I Hate fall by the wayside for a number of reasons, none of them very good ones. (I hate that!) Then eventually I just assumed Yahoo! had turned off the email account associated with Five Things I Hate due to lack of use - and so I stopped trying. (I hate that!)

Well, as many of you know, I am getting married to Poor George on Saturday! Last night I got a sore throat, so I am facing the possibility of having a cold during my marriage weekend. I hate that! I hate it so much that I thought to myself "self, I wish you could post that on Five Things I Hate."

So I logged on, and lo and behold it still works! (I don't hate that!)

So go ahead and proceed to email me the five things you hate to fivethingsihate@yahoo.com. As often as you'd like.

We maintain a strict privacy and anonymity policy at Five Things I Hate. We will NEVER divulge the email, identity or any other information about the people who email us their putrid bile. This is meant to be a community art project and as such the integrity of the project is sacred to us, the proprietors of Five Things I Hate. So as long as you don't give anything away to divulge yourself, your hatred is safe here with us.

As always, we reserve the right to deny posts that are just too offensive. E.g. a post that lists "N***ers, fags, women and Jews" will not likely make the grade.

So, Gentle Readers, let's hear it. We want your bile. Today.

I'm o'er here crackin' my knuckles. How large of a file CAN I transfer thru email before it chokes??

Hee...

Meanwhile, while I've got a understandably LOW opinion of the institution of marriage right now, I nonetheless acknowledge that it DOES work for some of us, and I'm sayin' conga-rats to yew and yer beloved!!

Now I have an x-cuse to eat cake!!

Aww...I'm so happy for you! And you're getting married on Doc and my anniversary. 10/25/97 was when we tied the not and I had TMJ so bad the week before that I couldn't move my jaw. Thankfully, I got some flexoril and the day went off without a hitch...well, with one hitch...Doc and me.

I feel your pain and your joy!

Good luck to the lovely couple!

I hate the fact that some people (for want of a better word, let's just call them bigots) would deny other people their happiness and all of the civil rights every other California citizen enjoys. I hate the fact that they don't seem to realize your marriage wouldn't harm one single heterosexual man, woman or child.

A very big and heartfelt mazel tov to you and your beloved. A lifetime of happiness to both of you.

I know you via our shared blogfriends- mazel tov on your wedding and I hope that your cold has left and that you have a joyful weekend and life together!

As for NO on 8, I have been blogging about it tirelessly on behalf of my gay friends in Cali and on justice for all.

Get married and stay that way on your own terms, not on that of those who would deny you.

Sorry, there is not one thing in here about 5 things I hate. What can I say- Dale sent me?

Can you use one more "Mazel Tov?" I am happy for you and PG and hope you will enjoy many years of wedded bliss.

BTW, what does Mama G think of this??

Congratulations! I am very bad at marriage, but I bet you two will be very good at it.

I am so happy to be able to see the day when gay couples can get married. Gradually the haters will be beaten into submission, and we won't have to deal with bile like Prop 8 in CA any more, either.

BeckEye told me you were getting married. Congratulations. That's wonderful. Do you know what I hate? Politicians and evangelical Cs who think they can should be the gatekeepers of marriage

Wow. I'd nearly forgotten you were the brains behind that blog. Glad to see it return.

Of course it wouldn't make the grade. That's only four things.
