I've never thought about this aspect, seriously. We've had domestic partners at our company since the early 90's, but I've never thought to ask any of the gay people at work if they have the exact same benefits, or was Uncle Sam double-dipping. At any rate, well written, sir, and hopefully this has enlightened not only just me.
I know you are going to love this book, it has Coaster written all over it.
Thank you for contributing to the continued debunking of the "separate but equal" myth. It's so infuriating how people repeat it without having ANY IDEA whether it's true or not.
