I've been looking over our pictures from last summer too to try and get myself off my dead ass to go out and clean the yard up. Thanks for making me feel even more shiftless and sloppy.

Why is "I went to a garden party..." not playing in the background as I drool over the photos and food? Looks lovely.

Hey, where did that lobster come from? If you visit moi today, you will see a photo essay that shows where THAT lobster probably came from. Mine was turned into an Asian stirfry which you will also see.

Dear Gentle readers:

The CP also forgot to mention the made from scratch cheddar cheese crackers that went with said Corn chowder and each attendee received two lobster rolls apiece.

Gifted typist, your lobster stir fry looks divine - is it a classic ginger scallion with soy? if so, try a healthy splash of dry japanese sake in the last minute of cooking, it gives the lobster a fabulous aroma and finish.

Aw that pic with George and the doggy is so cute. They both look petrified.

Cheddar cheese crackers? From scratch?!?

*bowing down in worship*

I am not worthy...I am not worthy...I am not worthy.

pg, it had soy, hoisin sauce and fish sauce with a bit of chili garlic. We normally do a black bean lobster stir fry but alas we forgot the black bean .

Will check out your tip on sake

Dear GT:

Sounds yummy! Alas, I was trained by a Cantonese traditionalist who steered clear of things like fish sauce and chili garlic. Although I use these ingredients, the ghost of my father would not permit me to in a lobster stir fry - we all have our ju ju to contend with!

Jealousy is warring with fondness. I'll have to get back to you on the winner.

ohh that looks like so much fun. I just today told Grumpy I want to get a patio set for the deck (the dogs demolished the cheap plastic one we had out there) Grumpy also wants a pool so our backyard will have parties held in it eventually Of course without Poor Georges cooking and your talent for cocktails they wont be nearly as much fun
