This is also the birthday of our Poor Suffering George, so we will make it a party for him at the same time.

I've never heard of Chan Poling until your earlier post on him. I'm sitting here watching the dvd extras on of all things Purple Rain because I bought it ages ago and had never seen it (and Beth blogged about the album) and there's Chan Poling being interviewed about the club they used in the movie.
I'll be in NY on the 19th but going to the Met to see Kristin Chenoweth. What a wacky world.
I don't know who those people are, but I've heard of Trip Shakespeare. I'll need a ride.
