Thanks to suggestions from our trustworthy blogger sources Dale and Beth, there is a new Tom&Mindy movie on the horizon: Little Miss Sunshine. What an odd, odd movie. In other words, right up our alley.
I don't know about the rest of you, but that little girl is my new hero.
This is one I will surely own. Thanks, B&D!
CPps: Min, go see this immediately.

Is it 'Mommie Dearest' good?
I may be one of the few people in the world who hasn't seen Mommie Dearest but I can safely say it's a different kind of good.
Oh, and glad you liked it Tommy Boy.
The sequel to this movie will of course be, "Poor Little Georgie"
I can't wait!
Wasn't Little Miss Sunshine great? I've never had such a good time at a movie in which nearly every single character has his/her dreams crushed.
I loved this movie. Hilarious and thought provoking all at the same time. You don't see that much.
I think it only would have been better if we could have seen Alan Arkin doing the dance too. :)
I'm so thrilled you consider me "trustworthy" ... oh, yeah, and glad you enjoyed the movie ... but I really want this moment to be All About Me.
It is Beth, it is - that's you in the glasses right?
I assume this is not related to any Mork and Mindy movies?
Dale, except for the hair color, you have no idea how close to the truth you just hit. I should run some of those photos one day ...
It's not open in the UK yet, but it's ON THE LIST for me to see. Perhaps it will be here when you visit!
Dale, I am SO GLAD someone else is a Mommie Dearest holdout.
Jin, I think Mommie Dearest belongs in a category all its own. It's not so much I love MD, it's just that it's kind of my brain.
Dale & Min, just watch MD already. For cripe's sake, you two.
Old Lady, you can't wait to see LMS or PLG? Either way, you have a treat coming.
Bubs, I didn't really mind Greg Kinnear having his dreams crushed. I don't know what it is, but there's something about that guy I just can't stand. I think I resent that he went from talk show host to "actor." Something about that doesn't seem right.
Gizmo, I agree. I also have a soft spot for oddballs & freaks. I'll watch movies about oddballs & freaks even when they're not thought provoking.
Beth, you're in good company because the girl in the glasses is also Mindy June. Or at least I can vouch for the fact that Mindy wore those glasses in 10th grade.
Grant, them is fighting words around here.
Check out my latest blog post, and see if I out-glass Mindy. Bet I win Biggest Spectacle since my only grammar school choice was the Cat Eye.
CP, I will KILL you. KILL you in a pool of blood.
I'll mourn you, but you'd still be DEAD.
I can't post it - I can't even find it. You were supposed to get me another copy.
Did do, Beth - what can I say? You were stunning!
