Dear everyone,

Please don't forget about Amy's Diary. It's my favorite thing on the Internets.

Are you certain it's your favorite thing on the Internets? I mean, there must be other blogs that are your favorite. There's got to be at least one blog by some Midwestern journalist that is near and dear to your heart? I mean, right?

Wow, you are subtle Mr. Miller. I would indeed state that The Official is my other favorite, except that Echo would come over here and bitch slap me.

Is that all there is to the diary?

Way cool! (the diary, not the bitchslapping)

Brilliant! I still cringe when I read my diary from my senior year in high school; maybe I'll publish excerpts one day during slow blogging weeks.

... and can I get in on the bitchslapping?

That diary is wonderful. I wish there was more of it.

I'd like to see Mama Gin's diary.

CP - I sent my sister a link to my Grey Gardens review and she started reading through some of the posts and comments and she said, people sure seem to mention Mama Gin a lot, who's she? So I had to explain a little. Perhaps it's time she had her own blog?

I'm just trying for my own slap here.

Old Lady, did you click on the link? It's hilarious.

Megan, I know.

Beth, I had a "journal" ("diary" was too girly) that I started in 7th grade. I tore it to shreds in a fit of low self esteem when I was in college - huge regret. I still have some other writings from younger years, and I cringe when I read them - but I know better now than to throw them out.

Me too, Bubs, me too. Now I think I'll cry and eat an Entenmann's cake.

Dale, I'm glad (and a little frightened) that Mama Gin is becoming known in the greater world. As for her diary, I once found a piece of paper with my full name written out on it in Mama Gin's shaky hand. It was in her bedside drawer, and I found it when we were temporarily living in her apartment while ours was under construction. It totally freaked me out.

Jin, don't pity him, pity me. Thanks.
